Back in a 996
After selling my seal grey 996tt 4 years ago I moved on to a few other car including a R8, in the mean time I built myself a track car to keep me amused .
That was until last month when I folded and bought my old car back back.
The car was still in mechanically good condition but needed a bit of a cosmetic tidy up, and decided to add a few little mods while I was at it.

As I bought it back





Wheel and brake refurb





Added some carbon





Half cage and painted seat backs











Gave it a detail







My little track toy, so much fun for so little cost

Wasn't a friend but did keep in contact with the guy i sold it to, heard he was thinking of selling so went and checked the car out and made an offer.

Always cool to hear about someone getting their old car back I'm sure most of us have a car from their past that they wish they could buy back.

No they are just the 996 sport seats that I stripped down using a guide I found on here and had the shells painted, its a cheap mod that brings the 996 interior a little more up to date.

I found the R8 a nice car to drive but didn't give the same excitement of the 996, It almost felt under powered as the chassis was so good in it . I do think the V10 one would be a different story.
