Alarm double beeps.
Alarm double beeps.
I know this may have been covered and I did search but did not get the results of the fix for this issue.
Drove car to lunch and everything was fine, then parked the car and pressed lock on the fob, the car double beeped only, no flashing lights or anything else so I check the doors, trunk, hood and center console and they are shut. I know the single beep means these could be open or the brown wire is not grounded for my aftermarket stereo system ( which I have grounded) so what does the double beep mean??
Also I tried to put the windows down and back up to see if they were not closed properly but they do not work anymore
These were working just before I got in the car to go to lunch so is there a connection between the windows and the double beep?
Any help appreciated before I take it to see if there are any codes.

Just wanted to update this issue as many don't and are left to guessing the fix
We found that one fuse was blown and when trying to replace it, it blew right away so we disabled the power window switches and then the door harness to see when it would stop blowing fuses. Turns out to be the driver side door so we took it apart to find that there was a broken wire in the harness causing a short, once that was fixed all windows, sunroof, interior lights and alarm work
Once again back to normal.

That's what I fear LOL!!
