Ok guys, as you all know I have gotten the GT3 seat bug...as I get ever closer to getting some I am kinda concerned about the comfort of um...I hear a lot of people say they are comfortable, but I just wanna see what everyone thinks...
In case it helps I am 5'11" and I weight 155-160LBS however I am stacked horizonally I have pretty broad shoulders (anyone have a single daughter or sister).
I mostly drive short distances, but I do make a trip to Miami at least once a week (about 1-11/2 hour each way). Also I will be doing the 12 hour drive to N.C. in dec. and I don't wanna regret it then either...

I say find someone with a set in their car and test drive them first...I was gonna do them but dont want a rollbar or any loss of access to the rear as I use it for haulin **** all the time...Besides, just got the Techart mat today for the rear seats so dont wanna take em out (too bad im 8000 or so miles away from my car!! anyone up for car sitting?? )

I find the seats to be comfortable and Evan put some weight on buddy.

 

If you saw me you would say go on a diet...very wierd, my fat doesn't wiegh anything . I really am not skinny by any strech of the imagination, probably considered chubby

I am 6'2" and 200 lbs. mostly muscle, the GT3 seats are the most comfortable sport/racing seats I have been in, including almost all of the Sparco's, and they are much easier to get out of than what you think.

The most comfortable seats I've sat in, in a while...I like really supportive seats, not interested in those comfy seats...

I like these better than those in the 745 (20 way adjustable) or any other car I've sat in. It's amazing how Recaro built a seat to fit so well ! Kudos

 

I have driven as long as 6 hours in them and they are plenty comfortable.

 

Ok, sounds like they are comfortable...however, do you sit STRAIGHT up?? I mean I don't drive like most kids my age in the back seat, but I sure as hell am not all up on the steering wheel .

Yes it is at Orbit still. I am waiting on the yellow stitching to be completed! Soon as they are done we can meet up.

 

Where are you having the stitching done?? I want to do the same thing (along with the painted backs).... The person I am getting the seats from is working on getting them stitched b4 they are shipped however, just in case I want a place....
