Innotech IPE-F1 catless on my 996TT X50 tip. Loud, drone, but does add power.

Thanks for the post!. Do you have any other video clips? Is the drone in the common 2-3K range when cruising? How was the fit and finish? dd it bolt up nice and easy with no mounting issues?

Does it drone in both modes? if not which mode is bad? On or Off? I would think off would have no drone. Thanks

Fit and finish: Excellent.

Installation: No mounting issue. Like Tenn's, mine was professionally installed, which included setting up the remote control key fob.

Valve Closed: Bad drone 2-3k RPM. At idle, not so bad. You can get used to it. But when you just want to cruise in peace, you'd wish it was more quiet. You'd think that with the valves closed, it wouldn't be so loud and it wouldn't drone so much... And you'd be wrong.

Valve Opened: Terrible drone all the way from idle RPM. I hardly ever use "on" mode (valve open). I know an owner of a 996TT who installed this exhaust and couldn't wait to sell it,

Auto: I use this 99% of the time. Over 5500 RPM, it sounds pretty good. A perfect compliment to spirited runs.

At the end of the day, I'd take the iPE-F1 over the stock TT exhaust. After driving with ipe-f1 for a while, I had opportunities to drive a few of my friend's 996TT with stock exhaust. I think they're too quiet.

The good thing is, I am less likely to hit a pedestrian these days. As I drive along the city streets, it seems that people are annoyed by the sound of my loud exhaust, and therefore, divert their attention to the car. -_-"

With all that said, iPE-F1 exhaust on the 997.2TT produces different exhaust notes and sounds very good.
