Success! Back from the dead.
She is up and running and tons more fun then before.
New OEM clutch feels twice lighter on the pedal and grabs with impeccable precision.
No extra parts, no leaks, so perhaps tomorrow I will leave my lucky fire extinguisher at home.
I am no car mechanic, but if I was one, I'd charge couple grand for what I had to do to my precious.
- cooling fittings re-glued and pinned
- new hoses
- new water pump
- bunch of new o-rings borrowed from truck supply store
- new voltage regulator and main belt
- new coolant reservoir
- fuel filter
- thermostat
- rear main
- oem clutch
- bunch of checks and vacuum tube replacements
Just to name a few.
I am nearing $2K with all the parts, hydraulic engine table and other misc. stuff. Owning these is not cheap, but sure loads of fun.
Many thanks for all the great advice you guys provided!

You keep the first floor, just make cut out in the ceiling, this way is more fun anyways.
