Feelgood MD is infamous around these parts
996TT rear tow hook location?

this may seem like a dumb question, but i've searched google, the 6SO 996, the 6SO 996tt, and the 6SO track/autox forums and came up with nothing.

so: where is the rear tow hook location on a 996?? i know the front is under a bumper plug, but where is the rear?

I think it's behind license plate. If it's not, then the bumper cover has to come off.

Wow just discover something. After looking at my pictures collection just found out there is a possibility of two locations. Under the license plate in some cases or under the right hand rubber bumper??? The picture with the center location is my own car but the other picture was probably pick on 6speed….

Correction: May be the one with the right side location is for an european car or ROW without the rubber bumper because the rubber bumper attachment is not there….

Mine is under the license plate. Every track day, remove front bumper plug and screw tow hook in, remove rear license plate and screw another tow hook in rear.
