996 GT3 PCCB front rotors on 2005 Turbo S cabrio

Please no arguments over steel and pccb.

Price was right. I know this has been discussed extensively and I know I can use 997.351.505.02 Adaptor bracket X2, and 999.073.313.09 M12x1.5 Bolts, spacer, and hard front brake lines, 996.355.587.03, 996.355.588.03. Still cheaper than new pccb rotors.
But I have turbo pccbs currently. If only the "Top Hat" is different on the front rotors why can't I take the "Top Hats" off my current 996 turbo pccbs and replace them onto the GT3 rotors? I here the torq for the screws is only 7 foot lbs. Is this all the information I would need to use my cheap 996 GT3 rotors on my 996 tt cabriolet with standard 18" turbo hollow twist rims?

Porsche does not sell the PCCB top hat separately.
996.352.032.02 - rear right interchangeable
996.352.031.02 - rear left "
996.351.031.92 - front left (top hat too tall) put my 996.351.031.02 top hat on
996.351.032.92 - front right (top hat too tall) put my 996.351.032.02 top hat on

Am I missing anything??

Front discs need the hats swapped, rears are direct fit.
No other parts needed...

swap the hats over. If you have pccb's (turbo ones) already just swap the hats, that is all that is needed. No other parts. I may have some hardware if you damage a screw head removing them.

That is what I was hoping for. I will probably never need but, I think it is cheap insurance.
