Ever since i got my TT the exhaust has drove me nuts. It never sounded right, even at full throttle. So the quest was on to find the right one...
It had to sound exotic, it had to turn heads and it had to sound like a Porsche (even with the Turbos). I listened to a hundred videos on youtube, did all the research and pulled the trigger and with the help of Sam Abbott, i got a Kline Custom made 3" with titanium mufflers with no CATS. Sam was fantastic to work with and within 5 mins we where both on the same page to what i was looking for.
I had concerns about the sound, CEL lights, fitment you name it i had concerns. Sam and Felix Kline did a great job listening to everything i ask for, with both of them saying "we will make it right and you will be happy" i knew it was going to be great.
i can tell you that i couldnt be more pleased with the wa
y that everything turned out, it sounds terrific. It brings a smile to my face every time i start the car and take it out. i go to cars and coffee quit a bit and had at least 10 people ask me a thousand questions about it. Would like to send a big Thanks to the people at Kline and to Sam for a very happy customer.
A few details about my exhaust, so i run CAT bypass, with no CEL lights. I used mini cats before the o2 sensors and they worked perfect. From there it goes into two titanium mufflers with the X and then out to Slant cut tips. the curve of the slant cut tips really follows the curve of the bumper and looks very clean.
Performance has been great, before freeing up the exhaust boost would come in about 2500, now down to 2100 rpms and the pressure builds much faster.
The sound is what you would expect a 3" exhaust with no cats to sound like, its flat mean. i live in the country and care very little about my neighbors think about it. At warm idle the exhaust is very normal a little rumble and a whirl of the turbos, on cold startup the exhaust is very noticeable more rumble. Then there is full throttle, and its in a league of its own, turn off the radio and roll the windows down. really hard to describe but amazing. Everything I expect from it.
I would also say that my time in the car is 30% street and 70% track.
I would like to say TY to Sam and Felix for great communication with the customer and when i replace my 996tt with a 997tt, my first call will be to Felix and Sam for another one.

the kline exhaust is SICK and it isn't possible dollars to dollars to beat it for power and craftsmanship. period.... and there then is sam .. oh never mind, he'll think i'm stalking him w questions... ( again ) hah
