997.2, 997.1tt, or 996tt? Which one would you choose?

I thinking about picking up a 997.1 TT Tiptronic for my wife to drive. I would prefer a 996 TT but since I have to get Tip so she can drive it, I would rather just get the more regal looking car and that's the 997 TT. She drives way too much for me to get her anything newer.
but that car joseph linked is the reason why. next to my dirt clod crusher?
dont get me wrong, my car is one quick hill climbing bit*ch but cmon.. porsche turbos DONT GET WORSE LOL
