Picked up a Silly Rabbit fuel system!
Argh, no I haven't! I have been working on intercoolers which are done but need to have temp probes wired up. As long as its taken me to do intercoolers and knowing I'm going to need an ecu onboard to even crank the car with the larger injectors I think I'm going to have Garth install it. I need to replace the rear tires and consider an alignment before it goes to him 3+hrs away. Yeah, I'm pretty frustrated with the lack of progress too! Not to worry, not forgotten about this little gem and it's going in asap.
Intercoolers, fuel system, and EMS. I've already got an exhaust, headers, and 24/20 turbos on there but they're a fairly old setup. Plan is to get it all in and see what these turbo will do before making any other changes. SRM has some turbo I'm pretty interested in but I'd like to see how these do and find out if my clutch can handle it first
I had intended to do fuel myself but between time, the sore lack of space in there, and the need to have it running with the larger injectors and EMS when done this seems the best way. It's going to be a real shame to bury these parts in there too, they are very well made!
Suspension pieces and tires with an alignment wasn't exactly planned but...

Honestly that had been my plan! But it's so damn tight in there and the fairly simple intercooler install took me a month due to time constraints. The in-tank portion is pretty straightforward as the setup fits the stock tank. Electrical connections up top fit stock wiring though I want to stage my pumps which will complicate things. Wires down to the pumps themselves are harder due to lead length I'm told. Rails and injectors bolt on but getting my meat hooks in there looks daunting. Harbor Freight sells a nice hydraulic table that can be used to really lower the engine which helps a great deal but I still fear it's a ship in a bottle. Line routing I haven't figured out but the fittings are all there. For me an issue is also that I'm looking at super sizing my injectors and I'd need a tune just long enough to get me to Garth for my EMS install - I'd want MAFless too. Altogether it seems wiser for *me* to have Garth do the install unless he wants my first born :-P Irish is taking his car up next week for fuel and EMS and I'm his ride back so I'll know more after that. I'll try to fill in as many blanks as I can when I have more info.
Not sure what happened to BLKMGK, he had a sweet car. I run this setup with a single brushless pump on a stock ECU. The whole basket and everything is nice. It's really designed for an aftermarket ECU to control it. I had to work through a few issues but mine works fine. The variable pump speed is controlled by a 5 volt MAP sensor signal wire. I tried to wire it into my factory MAP signal line that runs to the ECU but that was causing CEL errors. I resolved this by installing a secondary MAP sensor in the Y pipe along with a voltage converter 5v that is switched on with the pump controller relay. Another issue is that the speed controller takes a little bit of time to boot up so when you turn the key on it doesn't prime the lines and has to turn over the starter for like 6 long seconds before it will start. So to fix that I installed a hot switch on the dash that jumps the relay that I hold down for 5 seconds before I turn the key.
All that being said SRM is frustrating to work with and I'm not sure if they still sell these parts. If you buy it you are kind of on your own to install it. The whole setup is pretty nice on the plus side with the Veyron pumps and clean install.

Shame to hear about SRM.
I was honestly thinking of just getting it and putting in a Walbro 450 with a Radium adapter. Seems the SRM setup gets rid of the pesky tubes that seem to crack with time, but I'm not sure (on the exact SRM configuration of their pickup).
Thanks for the feedback!
