Can I get away with 87 octane in a 996TT?

If he cannot find 93 Octane readily available, where do you think he'll find toulene?

When Katrina hit, Charlotte experienced a gas shortage. All that was available was 87. I had no problems with it. Just stay out of the throttle until you can top it off with 93.

Run the gas that you can find and once you're in the clear, fill up with the best grade unleaded that you can lay your hands on.

I hope all of our friends in Florida made it out (or through it) healthy and fully intact. I'll take earthquakes over hurricanes any day.

... as well as any paint store... Ben. Moore, Sherman Williams... pretty much any paint store... they might look at you funny, as some people actually sniff this stuff to get high...
