Precision GT2 Wing - 3rd brake light

So the body shop started work on my GT2 decklid today. According to them the fitment is pretty good, but the edges of the piece are wavy and need additional work (not what I expected given everyone's reviews)

The issue I'm having is with the 3rd brake light...originally precision said that my 3rd brake light from the 996 would fit. It doesn't and there is no bracket to hold it in place either. For anyone with the wing, how did you handle the 3rd brake light? Do I need to buy the OEM GT2 part?

Hi,

had the same trouble.

They " created " a new fitiing for the light.

Beside that also found the finishing on the rear ducts of the wing is not so perfect, especially for such high price part.

Are you saying your body shop had to create a new fitting or the PP changed something in the design?

There are so many rave reviews on here about PP, its definitely not what I expected

The shop had to create new ones. Even though , the fitting after that still not 100% , it will get my attention later.

s65e90 is infamous around these parts
I have the FVD Brombacher Kevlar gt2 decklid (made by same people supplying Porsche Motorsports carbon I'm told) and the 3rd brake light fits very well but is just siliconed in place if viewed from the inside.
