Door adapter were routed out of mdf.

Then coated with several coats of bed liner spray for protection.

rivets nut for wood was used to attach the speaker to the enclosure ring. much stronger then using drywall screws. The edges where the adapter attached to the enclosure was sealed with silicone to prevent any air leaks.

6.5" ground zero mid bass Speakers test fitted in the enclosure. These speakers are ceramic coated help produce a resonate free sound from the cone.

Not sure if he kept a pattern for the speakers but he's now done several 996 so it's possible. Would you be using the same speakers? It's a component set that includes the doors. Wait till he posts pictures of the head unit, no way could you go ANY bigger than the 8inch Alpine that was used - it's a tight fit and the horseshoe was trimmer PERFECTLY!

This is my car BTW, it sounds awesome!

I bet it sounds great. I have focals, however the dash speakers were never changed. I'd like to have a little better staging. I'm old and going deaf; don't require HiFi systems anymore. Just "better".
