gl with the coilover install.
Thanks The top mounts are backordered a few days so I have more time to plan the install. The more I search the forums the more convinced I am that these top mounts were a good purchase. Many people on the forum have had them wear out. The bearings underneath also fail pretty miserably after years of use and miles.
The sound is definitely from the front end and presents itself when going over any surface that results in front suspension compression. It's especially noticeable over slow driveway approaches.

thats' the ticket, same conditions and circumstance that caused my issues that the bearings and top mounts being replaced cured. GL! I think that'll do it

Car is done with the exception of alignment which gets in today. First impression is it sits low , and I like the look so far. Sits ~20-23mm lower. I know its been said before that quality springs don't need to settle but I'm going to do some flat ground measurements with the Ohlins to see if this indeed true or not

It looks great...I'm jealous! I started this thread and I'm still waiting to install mine. I just got all the new front top mounts and bearings yesterday so no I have no excuse not to go to work on it!

Looks great rxbike an your coilovers are supposed to be excellent from what I have read. Enjoy!
