Suggestions for 996TT rotor replacement

I am looking to upgrade the rotors on my 03 996TT. Currently running a slotted rotor with Porterfield R-4 pads on the car. I have been looking at the 2 piece EBWERKS rotors as a consideration. Any guys using these & what kind of experience have they had. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you know if the front EBWerks rotors come with the spacers required

to retain the stock brake calipers ? Since these are 350mm, I spacers are required with the stock calipers. Just curious.

Are you looking for track purpose brakes or just street? I went to Giro disc 350mm and no spacers were necessary, I'm running PF 08 front and 01 rear, great setup for track with Castrol SRF brake fluid, never had issues at Daytona, Sebring, Homestead or PBIR.

I definitely want to retain the stock calipers at this point. I use the car 90% track & 10% street. With the car being heavier & I am getting to be a better driver & using the cars brakes at a higher percentage I'm going through pads/rotors more often. Right now I run Castrol SRF fluid & Porterfield A-4 pads.
Suggestions/thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks Todd

I use Sebro Sport slotted from Pelican parts. Fantastic results for me so far. And very affordable. I think I paid 725 for all 4 corners. My car is 100% track.

Slightly OT, but who makes the lightest stock-replacement (2pc) rotors for these cars?

+1. In the past stock rotors with Pagid pads would last 10 or 11 track days. My SEBRO rotors and pads have currently 19 days. Still a good amount of pad and rotor life left. Car 90% track, 10% street.

Well worth the money.

I'm one of them, they may cost a little more but they last and do they stand up to heavy weight cars with hard braking, a great piece of mind ;)

Giro is a great budget friendly rotor upgrade. Just today I said goodbye to my left front 72 vane 380mm Girodisc. Total miles 2307 which included 68x25min track sessions = 17 track days, 1412 track miles). My last set of Giro 350mm rears lasted 93x25min sessions which is equal to 23 track days.

Checked out the giros while not cheap they do look top notch. pwdrhound did you replace just the one rotor and not pair?

Always replace in pairs. I keep plenty of spares on hand.

Yea I know in pairs, you had me wondering with saying goodbye to left front. I know you do things the right way so thought maybe I was missing something. Thanks will keep you in mind if I need new= they are nice!
