Thanks Buddy, yes I too now have a red beast, just not as beastly as yours!!! I feel that I did get an excellent deal on this car. It still smells brand new with not a wrinkle in the seat.

 

Hope this isnt too off topic, but I figured you'd know the answer.

Ive read that in germany RUFs are considered its own car, they get to put their own VIN on the car etc, so its not just a tuned version of a car.

Is it the same case in the USA? Does DMV say its a RUF or a Porsche?

 

This particular car is a Ruf 550 conversion so it has a Porsche VIN. If you buy an R Turbo which is built in the Ruf factory then you get a Ruf VIN and it's considered a Ruf car not a Porsche.

Luis- When I posted those pics, I was just pasted a link in my post. Every web forum is different, I just have to get used to this one

iLL- Thanks, I have to resize them to fit. I tried the attach browse but the file was too large.

Darren was nice enough to post them for me. I will take better ones once I get the widows tinted, I get my pedals and Ruf badges put on. Hopefully this weekend if I have time.

 

Any additional "changes/mods" planned?
I know you were thinking about Ruf wheels.
