GT2 Values?
i again agree since repeating myself is habitual if not unintended. do NOT sell a 96gt2 unless absolutely necessary. they might not get to 993 turbo territory as quickly?
but man, they are keepers right now and will be astonishingly high in the years to come.
i shake my head in disbelief even at 993 c2 numbers!?! i mean holy crap i bought one showroom floor in 96 for 68? ish??
its worth 45 today! LOL

A few years ago (2009ish) I was looking at Countach's for sale. They were bottoming out since they were mechanically never very good, and the modern, reliable Lambos were taking over. A nice one was going for in the low 70's. I just saw one sell at auction on Velocity Channel for $920,000!!! I wish I would have bought three back in 2009.
I remember when they came out and thought wow= now very dated but still very cool. The Testarossa I'm sure I'm spelling it wrong lol is doing the same- going up quick for a nice example.

When I was looking for my car, I saw a 2005 that had 20k for $90,000... I didn't buy it because I wanted to mod the car, and would have felt bad...
Wow
that is solid!!! Do you have more details on this particular car?? Should i turn my GT2 into a garage queen??

I posted a feeler on Rennlist at $97k and have received solid interest if I want to pull the trigger. I have seen yours and think the Carfax issue may be the main detractor but if you were looking to get $89k it should be gone. I have to make up my mind but after driving this past weekend my choice got a little harder. It is a lot of fun and a ton of car.
I wonder how much the mods will hurt the value if it skyrockets. I have most of my original parts, so I could change it back, but I like to think people might want the Moton suspension, Sequential shifter, GMG X-pipe, and fire suppression system to name a few. What are your thoughts on mods hurting the value? Sorry to threadjack.
