wheels experts ,, have a look here =)

guys

i did some research but couldn't find the accurate answer ,,, i decide to buy new set of BBS e88 wheels for my 996TT .... and would like to know whats the accurate offsets shall i go for ?????

Front: 19x8.5
Rear: 19x12
Tires option: 245/35/19 + 315/30/19

1) whats is the right offset for those wheels??????
2) taking in consideration, if i will drop the car by 1 inch in future .. no effect ?? or any problem will be faced ??

Looks good, However you may have netter fit and ratio with a 235 front. Also I generally like 11's in the rear so to not stretch the tire much. Now it gets complicated because the 315's are hard to find now. Best compromise is a 11.5 so you can also run the 305/30 in rear if you need to.

On the front you can run from a 38 to a 40 offset safely and just roll fenders
On the rear with an 11 you van run 27-30. So on an 11.5 or 12 you can just take away with the math

hope that helps

thanks bro for your help as usual ... so to make this thing easy for me

you recomend to do it like

FRONT: 19x8.5 + 40
REAR: 19x11.5 +45 to 50 ..??

so like this i can be fine without any issue ? no torn tires ? no damaged finder liner =)

yeah..perhaps no issue once you roll ( or have someone ) roll the fenders. 19's are prone to rubbing while 18's just barely squeak by. in the rear on a 315/30/18 there's *maybe* an 1/8 inch clearance! it astonishes me whenever i look at it. and i STILL rub on bounces on the inner rear liner but that has more to do with hotdogging than it does a "proper vs "Improper" fit.

there just isn't a lot of room to play with and 19's play with it in the worst way. one that benefits NOTHING in handling, and still rubs at hard lock. groovy setup lol

Yes. ET47 11.5 in the rear would be what most wheel companies do for no issues
