How much bar of boost should a 2002 turbo have? I just got one and just learning about them.

 

.8 bar stock. X50 is 1.0 bar i believe.

 

it goes up to 3 bars so not sure if that normal

 

Full throttle (wot) you should easily get .6 to .7 bars if it is not an X50...

 

3 bar !!!? And u bought it as a stock car !? U might be lucky getting big turbos and u don't know =P

 

Yes I got it 2 months a go and when i got it I asked has anything been done to it. they didn't know but i will check again but I know on the dash it says 3bar. right now it"s in the garage getting the clutch master cylinder replaced it start to leak.Also who ever had it put 265/30ZR19 on the front and the back are 315/25ZR19. The exhaust sound loud well that's what my neighbours tell me lol but when I had it lift up it looks like factory

 

if you have 3 bars you will blow that motor up in short order

LOL just got it back from the garage it shows 0.8 my bad like i said just got it lol
which exhaust is good for this car every where I look there like 4000$ and up seen Manzo for 900$ shipping in

 

Do a search, lots of nice exhausts to choose from= best if you can hear in person. A good exhaust is worth the money and they can be pricey, might find a good used system.

 

Unobtanium is what I'm running, it's LOUD but only the slightest drone and only if you really try to make it do it. With a small muffler added the edge would go away and likely the tiny bit of drone. Night and day over the system my car came with! Don't screw up exhaust selection or you will hate the car!

 

If i recall I see the Manzo on Ebay for around $600 but wouldn't skimp here either on an exhaust. I bought a Kline and was on a budget somewhat. I love my exhaust and still regret a bit not spending a bit more for the Unobtanium.
