Can't for the life of me get the shaft off the trans after removing the 3 bolts

 

pm 32crazy or jpflip -powdrhound one of those guys will set you straight.

 

Got it out....just needed to coax her a bit. Noticed I do have the 997 shaft too....Hum...

 

I figured they could use some persuasion but didn't want to suggest it,

 

Just needs a good hit.

 

Well...it didn't like something. Was fine for 20-30 min then every light possible went off. Battery generator, reduced power, abs, psm, ect.. when I slowed down the abs and psm came back. Soon as I accelerated they all came back on.

 

That's truly bizarre, sorry to hear! All of my test drives prior to purchase of my car were done with the front shaft simply removed. I insisted it be put back on for my drive home and it was a simple process, no fuses or anything. Sorry to hear it didn't work for you, not sure WTF caused all that

 

Just did this to mine. It is hard to believe the difference. My 72 year old Father went for the test ride with me and wanted to drive it. Crazy old man slipped the clutch at 4500rpm and giggled like a school kid on prom night after getting lucky.
