Question 997 turbo bumper/lights vs boxter

i really like the new boxter however the guys with the early 996 cars will prob lose to the new boxter.

my question is this: the new front bumper of the boxter is very agressive and nice IMHO, but i really don't think that this is right. it really reminds me of the c4s/turbo

i really like the 997 but wonder if the 997 turbo will go for this more aggressive look. from the front spy pics it seems to not be as aggressive looking as the boxter.

also the headlights seem to be a toned down version of the cgt, which is cool, but i would like to see the 997 TT carrera with a bit more agressive look.

am i way off or does this make sense

Geoff -

I think you are right on. The 997 looks very weak from the front end and the retro headlights look terrible. The Boxster front end, and in particlular the headlights, look way more modern and aggressive than the 997. Put any 996 next to a 997 and ask most people which is the new and more modern vehicle, and most people will pick the 996. (non P people anyway!) Granted the 997 and way ahead of the 996 in terms of perfomance enhancements but styling is still a big factor for me and the 997 loses hands down. I won't be trading my 996TT for a 997TT unless the front end gets a more agressive treatment. BB
