Updated One Piece Strut Bearing - What parts to reuse?

Hi All,
So I am almost done with my coilover install (FVD Bilsteins) and I got the updated one piece strut bearings for it. I have a question regarding what pieces from the old top hat need to carry over since it was not in the Bilstein instructions.

Old two piece had the top which contained the bearings, the bottom metal housing and then a rubber seat to it (none of which is noted in the instructions). I have tried it with the bottom metal + rubber seat and with just the rubber seat and it seems to function much better without the bottom metal seat. Is this the only piece I need to transfer over?

You can see the bottom metal piece in the pictures below.

Is this the picture from the instructions you have? It looks like you do not use rubber bushing or bearing retainer plate?

I ended up calling a porsche shop guy back in MD that said that they use the rubber piece if it is the updated bearings but not the metal piece. I so want to get this thing done but finding help to deal with the front axles has been a pain.
