Exactly. Bang that stripper without a condom, put 10k on one hand of black jack, and buy a Porsche

I think everyone's situation is different when it comes to Financing.

I financed my car and my income level is much less then most. That being said I also have resources most people do not have when it comes to cars. The biggest asset would by myself and my incredibly low self labor rate. The giant stock pile of parts and free maintenance items are always a bonus.

That being said if something bad like a motor scattering I would have to wait to fix it. That is alright though a car that isn't depreciating sitting around has never bothered me. I have plenty of others I can use if that were to happen.

Can we take bets on which one will end up costing you more?

Penfed financed my 01 turbo a few months ago no problem. Really good interest rates. To me it makes way more sense to finance the car with a good interest rate and keep some money in the bank for repairs than to try and buy it outright and leave yourself with little overhead.

Financing a 996T

I would always take a loan. My investments are averaging 20% a year or better, why would I sell anything to save 1.99% financing cost? But that's the point trying to be made: I could buy cash if I wanted to.

If you're taking a loan for a toy car you probably shouldn't be buying it. Don't take bad debt for non necessary / luxury items.

It is a bad investment whether you finance it or not, but it is a very fun one. I would rather have a loan on an old car that is not depreciating rapidly over a new car that is.

Wow ! Some awesome points made in here thanks for all the advice good and bad haha. But this car for me will not be a dd and as for repairs I have looked into it. And to be honest I'm really not worrying to much yes parts are pricy but you have to pay to play My brother is a tech and he is pretty dam good at what he dose .the car will probly be driven maybe big maybe 1500 or less a miles a year for I go away to sea for months at a time for work. Maybe I should of been more clear on my post but still loved all the feed back. The question I was manly asking was for the people that did finance who did they go thru since it is a older car not if I should finance a older car
.yes I am young.. 24
.no I am not rich or have a trust fund I work really hard and make a decent living for my age
.yes it is a dream car and I fig why not do it now befor I have kids and the wife won't let me do it lol

Yup, do it now before you get some woman that makes you sell it like in the other thread on the first page. Lol
When I found out my wife was pregnant, that's when I ran and bought mine.
