Smog check time

This will be my first smog check. Anyone have a recommendation for a shop in the Ventura/ Santa Barbara/ Thousand Oaks area in California? I would appreciate your help. Nothing fancy on my car so it should pass just need a good shop who won't mess it up.
Thanks.

If you are stock you should pass the visual but you need to find a friend or friendly shop that has a scan tool to check for readiness reset before you go to smog station....many smog stations routinely do the readiness check when you first arrive because so many cars are now failing because of no readiness reset...if the battery has been replaced you may not have readiness and you won't pass smog even if the car has passed before when they just did a dyno and sniffer. Got to love Kalifornia...good luck...I hope you don't have the nightmare I had with readiness reset
