New Kumho Ecsta SPT street tire

Anyone have any experience with the Kumho Ecsta SPT tire? I just noticed they offer them in 996TT sizes.

KJM3 is infamous around these parts
I wouldn't put Kumho's onto my 911TT and if I did, I would at least put the "Max Performance" Kumho MX's on vs. the lower model "Ultra High Performance" Ecsta SPT's.

I just found this post from Gary at the Tire Rack on a BMW forum (E46fanatics). He answered someone who asked to compare it to the PS2:
"These tires are pretty different from each other. The Kumho SPT is a good entry-level value tire (it will replace the old Supra 712) while the Mich PS2 is one of the top max performance tires that money can buy.

So that sounds dissapointing, esp since Kumho makes such great track tires. But...maybe they upped the performance in this size as it has a higher speed rating and is obviously for the 996TT? Anyone know?
