Good Bodyshop in Orange County?

Looking for member recommendations for a good body shop in Orange County - someone tapped my rear bumper cover and I am going to replace but need a place to match perfectly and do it right!

Thanks, Bond

A-1 Autobody in Huntington Beach, CA - 714.848.3001

Ask for Wayne, tell him Albert sent you, been using him for 6 years now, worked on my 3 previous BMW's, my Scion and Porsche as well. (I mod everything!) He does excellent work...

Sterling Collision in Tustin. They are the authorized paint and body shop for Newport Auto Center (Porsche & Bentley) as well as Crevier and Sterling BMW. Being in the automotive aftermarket for the last 12 years, I have had the opportunity to work with them on several project vehicles and they do an excellent job. Ask for Ray (General Mgr) or Sal.
Good luck,
Scott

Lanzini Body Works in HB as well. Ask for Mitch, tell him Scott w/ the Old Suburban sent you. I've had him do many little things for me and have sent many people to him. Everyone has been satisfied.

Newport Automotive Group in Costa Mesa. I have Marc do all of my work and wouldn't think of taking a car I really care for anywhere else.

When I bought my car, it needed the front bumper repainted as well as a few other items handled to bring it to "as new" condition. In the end, the front bumper was repainted as well as the right front fender and left rear fender. He also did the bumperettes. Paint match was spot on and you cannot tell there was any bodywork/paint work done. Finally, I had them color sand or "cut and polish" the entire car. The result is a glassy smooth finish worthy of a show car.

I brought the car by GMG earler this week and Fabryce noticed the quality if the paint and wanted to know who did the work as they were loking for someone to do their bodywork. Perhaps he will chime in and give his thoughts on Sterling Collision.

Marc is good also in the way that he will get it right and get it done when you need it. He does little collision/insurance work and specializes in high end cars. On an average day you will see street rods, classic cars, Cobras, etc in the shop. In spite of his high-end clientele, he is still priced fair.
