I think we are allowed 2 readiness codes to pop up as not ready and still pass. And for now it doesn't matter which two come up. I heard in places if it's a rear o2 that comes up its an automatic fail but that's not the case here. Not yet anyway.

There are ways to tune for catless that leave the rear O2's in the loop and allow a ready state.

I have a tune and passed inspection no problem with no cats..
I was worried initially that I would have to put the stock exhaust back and stock tune but it went no problem.

E85 on a catless smells like garbage...

concur and attest to that. though i needed to replace rear 02's to eliminate cel. i have a sneaking suspicion i could pass now w the cat deletes as they will presumably pass visual ( what other purpose do they serve?? ) provided the car passes all obd readiness which mine can/does.

if and since the obd registers the 02's being "ready" since they are active, will it "sense" there are no cats? anyone?

You passed a NJ inspection with no cats? How is that possible, they usually look under the car with cameras

Cat delete pipes are just straight pipes. They don't visually resemble cats or trick anything into thinking they are functioning like cats.

Not on OBDII complaint cars, just plug and go unless your car rolls up shooting flames

If you're running race gas all the time it smells great without cats. As a bonus you also get to really hear the turbos spool and your car will shoot flames under some circumstances which I love
The rear O2 sensors have not given me a CEL and I don't have any bung extenders in place either. They are definitely not ignored by my tune because they still play a role in my mixture and show as ready in Durametric.

do you think your car would pass testing given the readiness codes are all "set", as are mine? i ask because i'm thinking of giving testing a try, as is. since the sniffer is no longer part of our tests, as you know.
