CEL in cold weather?

Out here on the VA coast we've been having some very inconsistent weather as of late. It'll literally go from 70 degrees one day...to the low 40's the next. Anyway, I've gotten a CEL for the 2nd time now in a week during cold weather.

I don't *think* it's the MAF since I had a bad MAF about 2 months ago (which has since been replaced) and when that went bad it shut down my PSM as well as a gave me a CEL.

Right now all I get is a CEL and a rough running engine under heavy boost. PSM is fine. The car starts, idles and drives fine...but under heavy boost the CEL comes on and the car stutters. It did this one time a few days ago and stopped after I shut the car off and restarted. But today, the light is staying on after a restart.

Any ideas what it might be? TIA.

something similar happened to me on the way down to LA 2 weeks ago - plugs & coil. pretty cold in the middle of i5, probably low 40s, boost got as high as 1.4bar...

(if i got a tacoma, we'd nearly be twins)

I disconnected the battery for :15 minutes and it dissappeared. Car drives fine now. Maybe it's sensing a temporary lean condition due to the cold, dense air?

Carendt - Did you replace the plugs and coil? Oh...and we've talked a small bit on Supraforums. When you first got your TT.
