So I just bought this turbo........
Just sent the deposit in yesterday....fly in to Florida to pick it up on the 14th........and drive it back to CA with my brother. Gonna be one HELL of a roadtrip..........

2001 996TT, 19,000 miles, Arrest me Red, FVD K24's, Exhaust, Etc. Champion 19's, GT2 Nose and tail, blah, blah, blah. Claims 575hp, we'll see........

So here's a question for my first post.

I bought this car for three reasons. It had the motor upgrades I wanted, it was red (needed that) AND it had the GT2 front and rear which I absolutly LOVE.

The previous owner has it badged in the rear as a GT2.

Poser move? Or should I just leave it on there...............

What do you guys think?

Saw that car on Ebay...REMOVE THE BADGE! The badge just ruins the whole car, w/o it, I would give it an A+, w/ it, it would get a B/B-.

HUGE poseur move. I personally would take it off immediately.

Congrats on the purchase though, Chris. Sounds like a very nice car.

I saw that car numerous times on ebay and always thought it was great looking! All the best with it and ditch the GT2 badge asap!

the GT2 is a POS - get the badge off.

just kiddiing. but I would get the badge off. I just put 911 on mine.

Congrats on the car purchase. You definitely need to remove the GT2 badge- even the stealth look with no badge would be better. Enjoy the car.

I too saw the car on ebay and even spoke with the seller a few times. Looks beautiful. Enjoy!

Remove the badge!
