Well, Since I registered, I can't seem to do ANYTHING here except start a thread. Makes it difficult to respond, can't PM or anything.

So.......since a couple of you asked questions, I figured the least I can do is to respond.

YES, the GT2 badge goes! Normally I wouldn't even consider keeping a car misbadged......guess I got caught up in the moment...so off it comes as soon as I get home.

I am paying $85,000 for the car. I think I am pretty much paying top dollar, which I am NOT used to doing. Yes, this IS the car that was on Ebay for those of you who were astute enough to recognize that.....

I could have bought multiple others with aprox 15,000 miles for about $70,000...a REAL nice black example just sold yesterday on ebay for that. (nice wheels too) BUT, my problem was I only wanted red and I didn't want more than 20,000 miles. Wanted a turbo for 20 years, so I wasn't about to compromise on the color I wanted....and, as I tend to mod everything.....well, I think this one was a good choice.

If it hadn't of had the GT2 body work on it, I probably wouldn't have bought it....I figure that I probably could have found a similar example (without the body mods) for about $80,000, maybe $75000 on a REALLY good day with the same motor mods....AND this car has really nice stereo upgrades....so I am happy with the price. I betting worst case scenario, is if I end up selling this car in 2-3years, I MIGHT take a $15,000-$20,000 hit.....and maybe much less...not the end of the world if I do....worth it to me to own it......

Great forum you have here guys....I hope to be able to contribute soon in the future....

Enjoy the car Chris, forget the ROI side - it's a losing proposition on most cars.

The good news is that you'll get more smiles per mile that you ever had before.

Hey, look on the bright side, you bought a car at 50% of what it cost to create factoring in original price, mods price and tax/whatnot. Not bad no matter what anyone says. Enjoy and welcome to the best color Turbo.

I would guess (from experience) less than 50%. Great purchase.

enjoy
