Removing Rear Screen - Will I Need New Seals?

the bottom seal of my rear screen has failed, and is letting water into the cabin

I've spoken to a few window companies, but non of them know whether the seals should be replaced or if they'll be damaged during removal

Before I spend ~$200 on bits I might not need, can anybody tell me if the seals can be reused when taking the screen out, or if I'll have to buy some new ones?

Here's the diagram Porsche gave me

My leak is coming from the lower part of the screen, which isn't shown in the diagram, but I'm guessing it's parts of one large seal?

I always use a new seal when reinstalling glass and would especially on a car the age of ours. Cheap in the scheme of things and why risk it.

According to the workshop manual, both the plastic seal frame (8) and the rubber seal (9) can be reused if they are undamaged when the glass is removed. As they serve only cosmetic / wind noise purposes, if they look good and are undamaged, you can reuse them with no worries. The problem is, you don't really know if they are going to be undamaged until the glass is out and all the pieces have been separated. And if they are damaged, you will likely have to wait for the parts to arrive.
I recently had a similar issue with a 997 windshield seal. I spoke to my parts guy in advance, and he said if I did not need the seal and returned the parts within a couple of days, they would take them back and not even charge a re-stocking fee (up to 30%). I ended up not needing and returning the seal. No fuss.

I'm assuming glass sits in butyl and seal for wind/cosmetic as you say. I would still replace as it would make for a nicer job but I do tend to be picky and over kill at times.
