Thinking to paint stock OEM wheels
Its true that they are considered disposable for now but its still sad to see what people with little cash to spend will do to a nice car. I have seen it many times as with the 930 in as it was a joke but now sought after. I thought your car was sold x50?
You would be lucky if 50k would pry my mint, low-mile 2004 out of my hands.
I wish I would have followed my gut and bought that low-mile 1992 3.3 Turbo 2 years ago for 32k, but i though it wasn't "special."
Boy, was I stupid.

I think most black cars look better with some accent on the wheels.
Unless it's THE murder nova.
To each their own, at least there are new method's of "trying" a look.
When I find some gold e88s...

thank you for injecting some sensible reality into this ( non debate! ) from reading this thread my takeaway is that most folks here ( gotta be the newer recipient/owner that still wander outside in the AM and stare lovingly in combination of awe and glee and wonder and pinch them selves that finally having "made it" they have a 15 year old porsche in the garage ( yard?!? LOL ) somehow feel that because ONCE maybe because the car WAS once a flagship $125k +/- car, right now its just one more used 30k 911 porsche! ok maybe 40 LOL
keep polishing those wheels/spokes and exhaust tips!
they keep increasing in value with each backbreaking application lol.
you guys own barely sought after fun 911's. little more, certainly, nothing less. but yeah, i got mine dirt(ier) today too LOL. woo hoo! and uh oh.. there goes my asset portfolio

'Isn't valuable anymore'...I am still far more excited seeing a 996TT then a new 991TT....

I personally think OEM 996 Turbo wheels look hideous when painted any color other than stock. I also find it disappointing that almost everyone's main focus is the "value" of their car, who cares, get out and enjoy life and your car!!
So the OEM Turbo S wheels that are gunmetal instead of silver are hideous?
I didn't put words into your mouth. I asked you a question. I'll ask it again.
Turbo S Gunmetal is not the OEM 996 Turbo color of silver. Is it hideous?
