Is there a solution for a missing button on the handbrake?

My car is missing one Looks like that part can't be ordered separately?

Nope I lost mine to but found it under the seat and glued it back on. You have to order the whole hand brake it's not cheap .

I'd be calling a Porsche dismantlers to see if they have any broken parking brake assemblies. A button from any 996 or 986 will work.

Porsche got you coming and going.
The third brake light on my car's rubber ring has cracked. .thus it not perfect. I could have taken the rubber ring off and crazy glue it together.
In the end, I ordered a whole new brake light just for the rubber ring. .cost me $145 for a black rubber band
