Mid 10's and 130+ mph will be nice.
And the best part you can drive the car home that just ran 10's.

Hey Alex, can you tell me why lower exhaust temps are a good
thing? I would have thought that you wanted to retain the
heat (= energy) between the head and turbo. Cooling means
the volume of gas decreases, which means slower flow.
Porshe insulates (double-walls) the stock header to keep
the heat in... I would love to see a comparison between an
aftermarket header, and the same header after it was insulated.
This could be simply by thermal wrapping.

I think we're talking about two slightly different concepts
In yours I absolutely agree that you want to try to retain heat to help the turbo spool, which is why I've used thermotec and/or ceramic coating on all my headers (will do on these too). However what I was saying was Different concepts. The heat out of the motor is somewhere when in the higher ranges and larger HP packadges you want to be able to control temps from getting too high and/or being lean etc.… Yes, you want the heat but only up to a certain point
On the very high horsepower kits reducing the EGTs a little has been a good thing:P I mean, out of exhaust ports you don’t want them running hot but within reason but I don't mean you want it to be cold either.. just a little "cooler". Make sense
?

Alex,
when you ceramic coat your headers, do you only coat the outside? Or do you coat the inside too?
Thanks

PS just ordered a set of the new k24 headers by EVOMS

Bloody plugs dammit (don't run leaded gas is my lesson hehe). I shoulda changed them. Got there and misfired like a ****. Still I practised some launches and even being down on power still got some 10.8s...

But this little ****** needs to change his plugs
Dangit! So I'm going back to the track next week with "fresh" plugs and never again any leaded gas
