Boo hoo hoo
Your's on the other hand looked spot on.
Congrats!
didn't expect anybody to catch him.
You could also get a well sorted early CTSV. Those can be monsters and comfortable too.
Sorry that the 335 didn't work out. Those cars are pretty impressive. My wife has one with intake and tune. It's fun and super responsive. But I'm sure nothing compared to your old 996.

The 335i I have has upgraded turbos, built auto trans, e85, meth etc.
I loved my old 335i. I guess I need some new or different "project".
This 335 is also wrapped bright blue. It feels a little "boy race".
I'll keep everyone posted. 😀

Know a guy that had one as his daily and liked it a lot. Decent performance, sharp handling, AWD, pretty good on fuel, enough room to be practical, decent on board tech.

BMW 335D and build the hell out of it. Diesel builds are cheap compared to ethanol p-car build. save some money get a hell of a people mover and push 550+ in torque.
Gives you a chance to wait for the next TT to become available.

wow nice! I had the opportunity to race in a stock '02 Z06 and it was "warp drive" when you mashed the accelerator. Can't imagine what a twin turbo feels like! Any estimations on power?
Well before the ls2 it had an ls1. Then these turbos on it now are a little different then they were on the ls1.
So before those big changes it made a little north of 700whp, the previous owner did not dyno it again but estimated the new build to probably be 800-90whp.
I haven't pushed it yet.
My 996tt made 690 rwhp then I did a better exhaust and inlets and raised boost a hair. So I figured it was a good 710ish.
This car feels close to it on the lowest boost setting. The good news is the guy who remote tuned it lives near me so it seems only prudent to take it to him to see if it needs any tweaks.
