Started with Techart coilovers, went to JRZ triple adjustables and then went to JRZ four way adjustables.

If you go with the 3 or 4 way adjustables be prepared for about $1,000.00 a year in maintainence costs.

I have the Bilstein PSS9 suspension.

read below for some specs;

"The Bilstein PSS 9 Suspension provides the ultimate in performance tuning. The fully-adjustable monotube gas shock absorbers offer a selection of nine precise compression and rebound settings, from comfort to competition. The front and rear progressive rate springs allow accurate adjustment of the vehicle ride height and center of gravity for the level of performance you seek."

For a lower budget, they are very good.

They retail for around 2300-2600.

Moton is the way to go for a durable double adjustable setup, but only if they are setup properly, like from Premier Sportscar Service in Las Vegas.

Chad, The JRZ's now have all new guides and redesigned seals and will not leak or cause you any more greif. They also have a kit to upgrade 3-ways to 4-ways if you want to do it that way rather than completely replacing the shocks.

Shocks are tricky as you know and it's so important to set them up properly. There are so many good shocks on the market now but few "Great" shocks. I still find the JRZ's to be the fastest on the track and the smothest on the streets (which is how a proper shock works) The weak link on the JRZ's use to be the leaking which for the last year or so has been a thing of the past.

So, I think that $1,000 maintainence cost should be a thing of the past too...

Side note: Chad I'm also just finishing up testing on some actual 2WD RSR front upright with a special bodied shock that works very nicely on my AWD TT ... this is very cool setup that I thought would never work, however, the car does have to run fairly low. I've got this working on my car and a racecar in Germany and seems to be working without any problems.

Cary,

That is great news about the "no leakers." Are these guides/seals interchangeable with my old JRZ's? I used the kit to upgrade from the 3 ways to the 4 ways when the kit first came out.

If Rob gets KA running by the end of January, I would be very interested in those new uprights you have come up with. Can you get me some more information about them? If so call me or e-mail me the info. Thanks.

There is a double guide that has the shaft seal and snap ring on the bottom and that's what you need. The bodies of your shocks are now several years old (how time fly's) so they would have the larger bore which is 2 mm more than they use now. I'd have to look into it but I think we could build some one off guide parts for your shocks. Have rob get hold of me and I can make sure he gets all the needed parts. If we are to do the RSR uprights I'll have to change out the body on the front but I can use the same shaft and canister. However, it might make sence to just sell the fronts and put all new ones on with all the lastest mods.

Figure at least 2" or maybe more like 2.5" from stock.... I would guess your car is already at least 1.5" lower? My car is about 2.5" lower but it had the 1st gen gt2 front spoiler which hung down almost 1" more than the 2nd gen front ...

I'll start PM'ing you... I think we're mess up this thread. I'll be at Willow all day tomorrow so we can talk on Thursday
