agree with anyone else questioning the wisdom of running 19. what factory alignment is available for 19??
if you find one? use it. if not go back to 18 wheels in gt2 fitment if you want the car to ride/handle as intended from the people that designed it. 19 is blingy silliness imho.
18 is planted and factory set up. even if you use 7x15 spacers w stock twists. that beats the incompatibility of of 19's. the wheel wells were NOT made to accommodate 19. you're doing your self a disservice with 19. but many do.
whatever. .02.

As for 19s fitting, a 245/35 and 305/30 seem to fit fine, it's not until you're crazy like me and go 255/35, 325/30 that is becomes a big issue.
Mark, I have to agree with flewis and su_ on this one
My car is aligned to GT2 spec with the 19's, also I am running exact same witdth/profile as stock 225/40 and 295/30 so sidewall height is exactly same as stock which means no loss of "comfort". I have no rubbing at all even lowered with my H&R coilovers and I have not touched or rolled my fenders at all (I have not touched my wheel well liners either).
Not all 19's are created equal
Mine happen to be much lighter than oem non-hollow Twists and even slightly lighter than oem hollow spoke Twists in the rear and just about the same weight as front hollow spokes even though mine are .5" wider. No increase in unsprung weight so no loss in performance there either.
The issue with rubbing would be overall size and offset of the wheel/tire combo not just wheel diameter. I am at just under 26" overall diameter. Just as an example even our boy pwdrhound is/was running 315/35/18 which is about 26.4" overall on his track beast!!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying 19's are better just that one doesn't have to leave any performance on the table vs stock if you choose the right setup.

Lots of good discussion here boys. I run 997TT 19" wheels as well (and 15mm spacers all around) on 315/25 in rear with no issues and no additional wheel well modifications. I do agree that 18's are likely the better track set up and will probably give them a try as I plan for AX in the fall.
Maverick, my setup is close to yours with PSS9's and GT2 alignment. I can't remember my settings off hand, but it is somewhere in the middle. My stock toe links have held up just fine with very even tire wear over several years. I somewhat recently installed Eibach sways front and rear to compensate for the pushing our cars are prone to with excellent results. They are fairly inexpensive and don't require re-alignment. I would move them ahead of the aftermarket toe links if I was in your situation. My .03 cents, which makes it more valuable than Mark's advice!!!

but a lot of this must have to do with how where you drive, ( flat driving is abundantly different than smashing in canyons, one needs to remember as well..)..
i still concur with the folks beyond my pals here
that suggest that porsche got it right with the optional sizes they offered for the 996 platform. but to each their own! i just know i never rub, i had a far harsher ride, and that was eliminated from the moment i eliminated the larger wheel.i realize, it's only an inch, but the rumor is that sometimes size matters, and sometimes less is more. lol ymmv. i'm just glad our setups are what we each want!
