Question for those with built transmissions
Thinking of something that is built with future power goals in mind (~1000hp at the highest setting), how do these tend to drive on the street/day-to-day?
Sooner than later I think I will need to beef things up, so may as well do it right the first time. I just don't want to go into this and end up with a car that is miserable to cruise around town in, as straight line racing only makes up maybe 10-15% of my time in the car.

I haven't thought that far ahead, currently very happy with where I am right now with K24/20s. I just know that one day in the future I may want more and I don't want to have to do the transmission twice
I would go 997 gt2/rs OEM parts 1-3 or 1-4, steel oem motorsport syncros and maybe custom 5th gear. Should be very reliable and should drive like stock. Better pay attention to the clutch setup, I would use dual disk based on OEM
I think you posted in the wrong thread lol
No i was responding to fadi lol. I thought he was talking about intercoolers oops.

Well I already have the RPS/ERP triple, but when this work gets done I'm going to send it out to them to examine. I feel like its sticking/not releasing at times, they may have a newer version of it available
Sounds good. Hope it works out.
OEM 997 GT2 stuff works good or use Guards gears, forged GT3 cup retaining plate, CMS shift forks, Guards Pro LSD and CMS side cover. Good to go.

look at the wavetrac for a lsd. while its not as good as a guard its much cheaper and capable of 1000 hp and lifetime warrenty. 1250$ and available quickly. i have had 3 in various cars and have been extremely happy with it. for straightline racing its hard to beat. and its not bad for road course either
