This applies to the B&B GT system (of which I owned for a few months).

Annoyingly loud, actually. I'm not joking about this, it is LOUD. Did I say loud? I mean loud. It might be louder than the Fabspeed Super Sport system in all honestly.

This was my first turbo exhaust...lasted 15 miles, I was afraid the windows were going to shatter

Cargraphic super sound export loud is by far the best!

 

BB = Crap

Would NOT take it for free.

Would NOT take it if you paid me $2,500.

Would take a 2004 TT that has one mounted for free and take out the BB to junk it. Then I would go and buy a Remus. Best sound and bang for your buck. Only $2500.

 

My car has the Evo exhaust which is too quiet, i was thinking of doing fabspeed bypass pipes but im pretty sure im just going to go with Cargraphic or FVD exhaust, they sound NUTS.

B+B sounds pretty good but like mentioned, its very loud. On the M3's as well

 

that sums my feeling up too!! I nominate it as worst exhaust for a TT.... factly, i think the company sucks as well!!

if $1,000 difference is all u care then get a popuplar exhaust like EP. buy high & resale high. get B&B then have problem sell it later is even worse.

I don't really care for a LOUDER exhaust. I just want the least intrusive exhaust that will improve perfomance. At some point they are all the same to me.

Like I was telling Arling a few days ago, I am having real difficulty swallowing $3,000+ for an exhaust. Exhaust for a Supra, or Rx7 can be had brand new for under $1,000. I know this is a turbo Porsche (x50 at that) and has 2 catalytics but what gives?

BTW if anyone wants to sell a pre-owned exhaust, send me a PM.

B&B Tri-Flo Sucks, I had one that came w/ my pre-owned 968 many years ago... the muffler split wide open at the seam.

 

Fabspeed sounds great and makes the most power.

 

Yeah the B&B GT exhaust is really loud. Do not buy it. Had one on for three weeks and it came off. Sold it at a big loss. Now I've had the LeMans on for over three years and 24,000 miles. Never an issue with CEL's. No quality problems and it will occasionally set off a car alarm, without resonance. A lot of 6-speeders don't like the B&B, but they have no personal experience. *****in' just to be heard. I like the B&B and I'd buy another one. $5K for an EP? Yeah right.
