is the gt2 wider than a turbo in the rear ?
im curious as to why people can fit wider wheels on the gt2 ...

cuz GT2 come with 12" rear wheels and the fenders has been rolled from factory. TT need to roll fenders to fit bigger size tires or lower offset rear wheels.

ebaker is infamous around these parts
I believe GT2 wheels/tires fit the Turbo OK without rolling the fenders.

ebaker is correct they do, I rolled mine anyway just in case. It's really a function of what aftermaket suspension you put on and how low you drop the car. My PSS9's work fine with the GT2 wheels and 315's out back.

The body isnt any wider, the GT2 runs a wider wheel and tire application.
