IIRC rottec is a techart knockoff. It doesn't have a dip in the center(to accommodate the factory 3rd brake light hump) so you can't have the wing all the way down. You need a spacer...strosek looks the best but you can't beat the techart price
Geetee, I think you're right and I agree, the Rottec is a really good deal for what looks to be a quality piece. Seeing them side by side though really makes me like the Strosek style more.
His rams don't currently function so I'd have to look into it more. I can get back to you.
It's funny, I was on the fence the entire time and at one point felt like it was a bad idea. Then I installed them and fell in love! Think the car looks naked without them!
Are you running a Strosek? If I remember correctly, you're running a c4 lip but not sure what wing you're running out back?? If so, is yours a Precision part as well...I've heard nothing but good reviews about Precision
precisions stuff is aok. always...and they are good guys edwin i guess and tony..my tech is buds with tony and them i got a stoooopidly low price too..he even said "hey! why'd we do that again?" it wasn't a group buy..there's more stuff i'm gonna get from em..i know I'm gonna end up doing a 997 convert at some point. they'll get my dough for the kit.

btw.. i hesitated on the toth inlets and missed that intro pricing dangit.. how do you like em, and do ya feel any faster? lol..

I bought the inlets not expecting to feel anything but more for a visual upgrade. Like I said earlier, I LOVE the way they look on the car.
Love the interior too. One of the things that attracted to me to my car was the laundry list of options and exclusive options. Sticker on my car was 141k and that's without X50 or Aero!
The cracked factory carbon steering wheel is the only thing that lets the interior down now but that's soon to be fixed also.
i hear ya..my last one ( x50 ) was pristine and stickered at around 140K+ also..was the much nicer LOOKING of the two.
this one was already a track rat when i got it..doesnt even have seat heaters lol.
but its got at least 150 more hp than my old one. i'll trade adrenaline for heated seats any day
the toth inlets look great, i just am not hitting speeds regularly where i can justify the cost for a stick on part. at the intro price i would've had i moved faster instead of "thought" about it..but theres so many more important things i need. csf rads/new .7.2 ic's/injectors/fresh cobb LOL. it never ends.

I agree.. I have the same wing and prefer it in the downward position... looks way more aggressive.
