[QUOTE=Steve Jarvis;4513775]So I assume the owner will need to paint their core support black, given this is what it normally looks like when you remove the grills?
You don't have to, but that is what I did...sprayed it flat black
We recently designed mesh inserts for the 996TT, which replace the plastic OEM slatted pieces. These are made out of aluminum hexagon material, powder coated black and water jet cut to shape. The goal was to design a grill that would cut down on debris entering the front radiator area, as well as improve the front end appearance of the 996TT. We have now road tested these for function/aesthetics and feel we have succeeded on both counts. Here are a few pictures.
I will be replying to everyone shortly- traveling now...
As for the temperature sensor, I just velcroed it to some of the plastic molding inside. There are several ways and locations where it can be easily positioned and I'm sure each person will have their own preference. It also works well to poke it through one of the hex openings. It will stay in place rather well.

Sent - but I had trouble sending a PM, due to low post count, so I sent a visitor message. Feel free to email me (it's in my signature) with any other questions
Forum rules do not allow posting prices in this section, so we have made a separate ad in the classified section that shows the pricing.
To place an order, the best way is to email me directly at the signature below and we can send a paypal invoice or call in to our office. And of course PM works as well, if you prefer that...
