Congrats on the purchase.I have a bunch of friends with them. Some with over 500hp and they are a blast to drive.I know that here in Canada they can be had for pennies.

I dont want to be so forward as to ask how much you paid, but presumably you looked around, whats the range in price you saw R32's for as you searched around?

thanks

The going rate for a clean R32 GTR imported to Canada is anywhere between 19-25K Canadian. You can get them cheaper if you want a crappier looking one. I have also seen one with 8,000km that looked like it rolled from the factory, but it was 36K Canadian.

What additional costs were there in the Federalization process?

There is currently no legal process to federalize any skyline.

It should be clarified, there WAS a legal process to federalize GTRs, however that process has since been revoked and may never be re-instated. It is a very long story.

-m
(previously looked into legalizing an R34 GTR before the process was revoked)

Here is my baseline dyno on 91 octane for those interested. Needs a boost controller, stock boost solenoid sucks. Only mods is an exhaust. Dynojet dyno RWD mode.

Very nice, love these cars. Those who were able to get a legalized one are very lucky, though I've heard they are constantly harrassed by cops.
