K16 billets at the 1/4 track
K16 billets at the 1/4 track
One of my clients in Australia ran a blistering 133 mph plus run at 10.7 seconds. Not too shabby for small k16 billets. We spent a decent time on the car getting rid of all the boost leaks and the car is running Mafless and race gas. It picked up 8 mph since 2 months ago.
Video is on FB I just can't save it.

Stock intercoolers and plumbing?
IPD plenum but stock TB?
Open exhaust? Is that just straight pipes? No cats?
filters on turbo.. TIPtronic- stock... I think he has some catless but not full 3" and 74 mm TB, 3.5" ICs, headers...

That slip is eerily similar to the slip from a buddy's McLaren 12C.. It would be a neck and neck race down to the thousandths at almost every interval.. The 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile split between this car and my friend's 12C time slip is 0.042. That's very impressive that these turbos put the car in that league of acceleration.
the trans was maxed out actually between shifts it was slow.. if it was a built one it would run faster...

Its really hard to get the cars running well. Usually the shops that do the install have no clue what they are doing... things seldomly go right... then you are working backwards trying to figure it out. On this one, one tial wg broke and at the same time the map sensor went bad... thats just in last 2 months. But he did puck up 7 mph more then what he ran 2 months ago... its data logs boost leaks and some tuning magic

Seeing this is a tip makes it even more impressive IMO. I mistakenly thought it was a 6 spd..
