Clicking noise from rear wheel...

Anyone had a wheel bearing go out? I'm hearing a clicking noise about every half rotation coming from a wheel hub area at slow speeds.

i have, it's more of a "growl" that is mitigated by sharp turns in one direction vs another. eg it will subside upon turning meaning the opposite side bearing is going bad.

not a "clicking" sound ( iirc )

Wheel bearing will be like a non stop growling/humming increasing with speed and when you load weight onto that side of the car..... sounds like your problem might
Be an axle, rock stuck in your tire, backing plate touching

Most of the time when I hear a clicking it's a screw head sticking out of the tire maybe if I am lucky a big rock in the tread.

have you changed the lugbolts ? i have seen on m/b folks change wheels and add longer lugbolts that stick out the back of the hub and hit the ebrake on rotation.
