Mileage and Value

Obviously lower mileage is worth more, but, with the aircooleds it doesn't seem to affect the price all that much unless you are looking for a concourse clean example.

How does mileage affect these cars as far as value? Looking at 996 turbos, x50 specifically, and higher mileage cars are lower in price but I am wondering how much a car should be discounted for mileage and how it will affect resale???

I haven't really paid close attention to pricing since I got mine but in general it seems to affect them more than it probably should considering their reliability and build quality, performance, etc. That being said I cant imagine many are changing hands for less than 30 regardless of miles.

I think you should be more concerned with the maintenance history of the car. Clearly, a higher mileage car will sell for less, but if it was well maintained with all service records, that would be worth something extra. Conversely, a lower mileage car with a spotty service history would concern me.
