996 eye lids
Mine is meridian metallic; it is like a silver with a slight red tint. Looks "pewter" is how people describe it, but it changes depending on the lighting. Not a super common color. It is one of those love it or hate it things.
The "little devil" looks great! I love the slant nose cars. A friend of my father had a turbo one many years ago, may still have it, took me for a ride and I thought it was the fastest car in the world
yes. they have them on ebay. but it might cause fitment issues. the only ones i've seen affixed with adhesive eventually begin to lose adhesive properties and don't remain "flush" owing presumably to the curvature of the headlamps. also, dont try the ones with the nozzle bit covered
although it appears to look ok on the op's car.
i imagine if these aren't regularly exposed to the elements they have a better chance of staying properly *stuck*.

yes we painted the washers scoffed up the chrome and used aprime coat and some porsche black that any paint shop can put in a can just did it for adifferent look kinda like it and the company was great to work with thanks for looking john
this is the best silicone glue i have ever used we build custom homes and we have tried many expoxys on the market and this brand works as far as the elements if you have a car like this it should be in agarage every night my cars have never seen rain period and yes wepainted the washer covers the secret to make the eye lids form is to heat them up and secure them to the lights before you install with silicone and worse case if they do come loose fish string will cut the silicone and you can re glue no big deal john
i'm no certainly expert when it comes to glue. i was merely reporting on what i have seen of them on cars, longer term.
though i don't necessarily agree that old porsche's need to be garaged
but i do agree, it's nbd either way.
love the slant nose btw. cheers.
i defer to your expertise john. As i just noted, i was merely reporting on my limited anecdotal experience having seen them on others' cars. I have no direct experience with them myself. Given the attention you seem to understandably lavish upon your vehicles, i'm sure you'll have no issues with them.

Another way to do it is like this. A couple of years ago when my trans was out to be built and get a LSD installed was messing around on mine. Taped them off then put down 5 layers of plastic dip then use real Seal Grey paint and clear coat on top of that. Tested it first on a old washer cap let it all dry then pealed it off. Didn't expect to keep it on this long but it's actually held up really well. The nice thing is it doesn't look like a cover.

@z06 that looks great too, but i think i'd miss my fogs ( not that they do much )
but what happens if you accidently pull the washer stalk at speed? mine was like a mini flying saucer
i'll never do THAT again ha. will the nozzle "win" over layers of plastidip is the question..
