My Saturday Story
So,
Decided to take the car out, to un-dust the exhaust... Since I drive it ones a week or so, going around town and stuff. Went on the hway, punched it, felt great for a split second. the Car lost power!, pulled over, I hit the gas, zero, nothing. RPM's started jumping up and down, you know how you feel when that happens, you turn white, and nothing you can think of is, damn i blew the engine. THE ONLY thing comes to your mind in split sec, I blew the engine, i need a towing....what do I do. (I know I'm not alone) so I'm trying to think what i did last time to the car...(czit, my phone is dying too!) So i'm thinking, Ok I replaced the fuel pump....I did boost leak test....OK, I called the towing right away(not sure why, maybe because IF they'll tell you they gonna arrive within one hour, it usually takes 2) So I called them right away, while me looking for clues, hopes and dreams, It ruined my rainbow and sunshine, ok, going over the things, it was cold as czit!!! freezing! so first thing, I checked the codes, - Throttle pedal malfunction- weird. I started checking intercooler pipes, one side looks fine, checking the other side, BOOM the upper intercooler pipe popped off in the fender, I just pushed it in, and cruised back home without hitting any boost. I Canceled the towing! I felt relief. I'm glad I had my SAT run! because next day I took the car to work, (moving second office) and drove 200 miles both ways, This week the car shall see 600 miles within 3 days!! Sometimes i'm just paranoid to take the car out, thinking, what's next????? should I drive it around town only, can I take the car for longer trips? I love driving that car! I'm at 57k now, We have a spare car, And i still drive mine all year round, anyways....sorry for the wall of text. If you have any stories to share, post it. I'm bored at work. Now i'm thinking if i should take my car for another 400miles this week or use spare car

I was scared of breaking my first 996tt - i ended up driving that car 10k miles in 10 months only to have to replace a bad coolant reservoir cap. Being afraid to drive your car is the worst feeling in the world so if possible get past that part and enjoy it!
