GT2 Hose Fitting

I purchased a new factory hose for my GT2 slave conversion. It does not come with the end to thread it to the plastic line.

Can anyone help with instructions to get this fitting onto the new hose without buggering it up ?

thanks

Looks like some type of snap ring holds it on. I would cut the old line with a hack saw to pull it apart and then take a closer look. When I did this I took my old line to a hydraulics shop and they set me up with something that worked.

I used some toothpicks to spread the fingers on on the metal retaining basket. Ready to be transferred to the new hose.

That is the exact hose I purchased. You just need to reuse the fitting and metal retainer pictured here.

I'm doing the factory drill and tap method using all the using all factory parts : slave, hose, helper spring, master and cap.

Harbor freight and automotive stores sell the special tool to open the claws on the retainers for those voss type fittings. They look like this...
