Guys,
I must give the videographer an answer by tomorrow. If you are completely serious about helping to defray the video cost, I must receive payment by tomorrow. This means I need to receive either a Paypal transfer or a check in my hand via Fedex no later than Tuesday, December 2.
It seems we have garnered enough interest to bring the price to $150/copy.

The latest video cost (revised to account for all post-production costs) is $4005 broken down as follows:

• $450 for the videographer to scope out our route the day before and setup GPS coordinates for where to shoot us.
  
• $3555 for all production and post production work.

Now, based upon the previous poll, if all previously interested parties contribute $150 (this can be anyone, attendees or other) we should be able to raise $3000.

We (PES and KPV) would be willing to pick up the difference between $4005 and anything over $3000 we can raise. After that, additional video copies to future interested parties will be sold at $150/copy until we recoup our differential. If there is tremendous interest and more than a few more people want the video we will devise a rebate scheme so that it is fair to all previous purchasers.

If we cannot raise $3K, checks will be shredded and Paypal transfers will be returned. Fedex'd checks are preferred since I will not incur costs to shred whereas there will be costs to send Paypal transfers.

I will be extremely busy over the next few days and will not have time for talk. So, with that, if you are seriously interested in helping, PM me with a request for a Paypal email address or Fedex address and I will provide them to you.

Remember, for this to work, we need a MINIMUM of $3000 raised and in my hands tomorrow. This means people must put their money where their mouth is.

 

A little late notice Ken...I don't use paypal, but I could overnite a check tomorrow to be in your hands by weds. Let us know if there are enough people to do this thing...Probably a firm final count will be required for those who wish to participate...Looks pretty wishy washey as this point regarding commitments, IMHO..

I guess the number of PM's you get will guage whether this will fly or not...If it is and you can receive pmt weds, I'm in...

My drop dead time for notifying the videographer of a go/no go is tomorrow (Wednesday) by 10:00am. If we haven't raised the minimum $3K by then, it is a no go guys. Work on it!!
